How can I disable MacBook Air M4 camera Auto Focus

Hi there,

I recently purchased a MacBook Air M4 and the camera auto focus bothers me a lot during video and FaceTime calls. It's jumping all over the place if I move or want to show something on camera to the other person. Is this normal or is there an issue with the camera? And how can I disable this? It's very annoying.

iMac camera won't focus close-up Hi guys, I just bought an M1 iMac and I do a lot of video calls via FaceTime, Zoom etc and noticed that the webcam won't autofocus on anything close-up to the camera. The image quality for normal webcam use at a normal distance is great, but very often I hold my phone up to the camera to show translation words or images quickly... when doing so I noticed my camera doesn't focus on anything close up, whereas my 2018 MacBook Pro camera auto-focuses with no issues. I've tried updating and going through settings but seems nothing helps, so I'm wondering if this is an issue with all of them or there's an issue with the autofocus on my iMac. I appreciate that most people won't be holding things close up to the camera, but I would have expected there to be some level of close up auto-focus on this new model

Macbook Camera Issue Hi there, I have an issue with my new Macbook's camera. Facetime, Zoom, Teams, and all camera related apps don't work. I've tried all I can from the articles and research.. I.e. restarting the mac, logging in and out of Apple ID. Did you have any other tips?

How can I turn off Center Stage in Zoom on a Macbook Pro without the camera settings toggle? Hi, I am a facilitator who relies on having the full camera to show props and things. Everything I've found about turning off center stage says to toggle off something in camera settings that I do not have. At first I thought it was a Zoom setting, but have learned center stage is an Apple feature. I have been trying to turn it off for the last 30 minutes, and cannot find any solutions that actually exist in my settings either in Zoom or on my Macbook pro. Please help!
