I have bought an iphone 16 3 days ago,and i am noticing slight burn in of the battery icon,signal icon,wi-fi icon and swipe bar.
Is it a software issue?since i don’t think a screen can get burn in in 3 days

Do you have your screen at full brightness? It’s almost impossible to get burn in/retention after just 3 days of normal use. This is sounding like a defective screen.

It might be an ios 18 bug or software issue,since i doubt the displays are sutch low quality.i am waiting around for ios 26 and see what happens.
Well it didn’t happen to me and I don’t know of anyone it has happened to. And I know many people who got the iPhone 16. If it were normal, there would be a huge uproar, trust me. I think it’s a rare occurrence that just happened to strike your device this time.
Hello, I just bought my brand new IPhone 15 plus 6 days ago, I realized that my iPhone has burn in or image retention after 2 days of use, I wonder why this can happen,even though I don't use the iPhone with heavy applications just regular social media and even then not for long,and I always use it at very low brightness, do you have any solution for my iPhone?

If i decide to send it to apple(i have the 1 year warranty every iphone comes with)and they decide to replace my phone,how will i be able to transfer my data from the old one?
if you have taken a backup to a computer or to icloud
otherwise all you get is the data you synced to icloud if you have enabled that
