Is it normal for my new iPad Air to lose 20% battery in 30 minutes?

My new iPad Air 11 inches (1 month old) has a very short battery life - it loses 15-20% of battery after half an hour of use (with nothing running in the background and the usage being just a notes, not a streaming or somewthing). With the streaming music or video the battery lasts about 5 hours. Is that normal?

On the surface, this sounds normal. Any streaming, be it music or video, is among the most taxing functions you can do with a device. If battery-powered, the battery will drain faster when streaming.

However, you are under warranty. My advice is to have Apple evaluate to make sure nothing unseen is at play.
