How to enable scanning in the Notes app on iPhone?

I used to be able to scan in the notes app but I can’t find that now. Did Apple change that?

Scan Documents from Notes I was told that I could scan a document using my Iphone using the Notes app. I have a 15plus. I have gone to my Notes, clicked to create a new note but I don't have the 3 dots at the top. Why is this occuring?

No, it hasn't been removed.

Open the Notes App

Tap the box lower right hand corner to create a new note

In the center of the screen look for and tap the Paperclip

Tap Scan Document or Scan Text, whichever is most appropriate
