The latest iPhone update requires permission to allow access to photos etc, but when I go to allow access there is no tab to permission the access. Does anyone know how to resolve this? My iPhone is a mess since this latest update!

More often than not, the permission to use Photos, Camera and Microphone can be found as follows:
Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos - Look for the app turn the switch on for the app

Some app settings may have been reset to their default settings. Have you looked at the settings for the apps involved? Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > scroll down > Apps > select app to check > enable settings to suit your preferences and needs
Not sure what listed as needing permission means. However, if setting is enabled, momentarily switch off and re-enable.
Latest update to the update and voila the ability to grant access has been restored for all my apps! Go Apple 🍎!
So tried this multiple times and there is no tab to permit access to photos when I follow this path. It just isn’t there. Nor are any of these apps listed as needing permission: WhatsApp, instagram, calendar, address book etc etc.
