MacBook Air M1:Failed to personalise the software update. Please try again.

Hi.

I have tried most of the suggestions provided on google, but no luck.

A apple customer service representative did also have a look via screen share, but still no luck

We have another MacBook Air M1 in my family, so I have tried to restore (wipe) 4 times.

The last time, I did not install anything at all. Just trying to update.

But no chance.

This is so incredible frustrating. The update worked the first year or so, but after that I have to restore my MacBook each time I will have an update. This is incredibly annoying.

Does anyone have a suggestion before I throw this Mac in the garbage..

It seems to be a very common problem with Apple silicon....

Hi.

Thank you for answering

I have unfortunately tried all of this sollutions but the Silent Knight.

This program tells me that everything is up and running.

Tried to google the system firmware version, and that is the same as my macos version.

So, i am stuck. Found a online user that had great luck with this error when he turned Find my mac off.

That did not help either. Some said you have to turn off file vault. Nope.. I have tried 4 times revive/restore with another Mac. Each time I have to wipe my mac to be able to update.

There must be some sollution for this? Is it a hardwaremalfunction?
