problem with adding custom email domain

Hi all,

I had a strange issue with adding a custom email to the iCloud+ feature.

I have two domains (considered them as xyz.net and xyz.com).

I had two Apple ID with these two domains (sina@xyz.net (main Apple ID) and sina@xyz.com )

when I tried to add the second one to the custom email domain, it told me that there is already an Apple ID with that email address. I deleted that Apple ID about two - three months ago.

Now I can add that email and domain to the custom email section in the iCloud+ feature section. But after I click on the confirmation email, I see this error always. I have tried many times since last week, but it always shows this.

Is there anybody on the Apple side who can help with this? I have tried contacting chat support a few times, but they did not understand the issue.

Seems Apple is unable to deliver you a verification email in order to verify that email address is correct.

Has the domain host been authorised to allow Apple Mail /iCloud to access / download your email for you ?

More suggestions on what to do: If you didn’t receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support

Also check through: Set up an existing domain with iCloud Mail - Apple Support

Perhaps should this exact topic thread be allowed to remain

open, indefinitely? Then you might find few dozen replies to

your inquiry, that may match or answer your questions..

iCloud User Guide - (Table of Contents) Apple Support

Also Apple support articles for hardware and software are

organized at various levels and combine into 'User Guides'.

(There also are 'user-authored' User Tips, & those may

be found through search of Apple Communities online.)

From 'search result' few were chosen as random example.

•How to Set up a Custom Email Domain in macOS Monterey - iCloud Mail

•Add an email domain you already own to iCloud Mail on iCloud.com

While a shortcut from 'universal time' may be found by selective

use of browser Search engines; like duckduckgo, not as an app.

Found a few items by choosing words, with discriminated use of

those; to degree of useful purpose and change them midstream.

.However this seems mostly rote; like book-learning, not online.

Sorry to bore you with an extrapolation by example. I am a 'Map

Sorry if I didn't "get" the problem. Am no expert in this area, yet your post deserves some reply. Also: From your post, seems Apple did not "get" the situation, either.

Eg: Re: "I received the confirmation email, but after clicking, it is not working !"

Let's see if we can make the situation clearer. The way I understand it:

You "clicked" (? something .. a link ?) in the confirmation email,

and

that caused the error message that Apple couldn't verify your email address, which is what you mean by "not working".

What am I missing here ?
