iPhone 14 pro max charging port fault

You aren't speaking with anyone from Apple here. This is a user to user only forum. We certainly haven't seen many reports of this on this, the most visited forum in the world for all things iPhone, but you are welcome to share your thoughts with Apple here --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple

No one here has the ability to do anything with your concern.

Unlikely that this is a widespread issue with the iPhone 14 Pro Max charging port as Apple has not acknowledged any fault nor released a Service Program for it. It's possible your husband and your iPhone's charging ports were both damaged because you guys share damaged or non-certified charging cables that could have caused damage to it. Apple does not repair/replace charging ports, in lieu they usually replace the entire unit. If you are in warranty they may offer you a replacement warranty unit. If you are out of warranty, you may be offered reduced price for a new unit. But there is nothing aside from that we can do nor Apple as you have already been told the damage and offered service.

Are you using an Apple branded charging cable and wall charger?
