Notifications showing immediately even though set to scheduled

My app notifications are set for scheduled summary, not immediate delivery. There are 4 times the scheduled summary is sent. Yet not all are doing.

Why are notifications from some apps continuing to be delivered immediately when they’re set for scheduled delivery? It’s only a handful of apps that are still sending immediate notifications tho they’re set for scheduled delivery, even though they’re set for scheduled summary. I’m baffled why these few are doing this or how to get them delivered in the 4 summary times rather than immediately.

Some apps send Time-Sensitive notifications, which override the scheduled summary and come through immediately—because, you know, your phone thinks you must know your bread just got delivered. --> Change message notifications on the iPhone

Note: If you want to allow urgent messages to get through, go to Settings > Notifications > Messages, then turn on Time Sensitive Notifications. iPhone with ...

Apps like health, safety, or system alerts (think smoke detectors or Apple’s own Focus status) can use Critical Alerts—which go nuclear and bypass all controls, even silent mode and Do Not Disturb.

The app developer may not have updated their software to ensure compatibility with the iOS version your device is currently running.

If you encounter any challenges with third-party applications, the best course of action is to directly contact the app developer for further assistance. Here's a brief guide on how to do it:

  1. Identify the app developer.
  2. Visit their website or app store listing.
  3. Look for their contact information or support channels.
  4. Clearly describe the issue you are facing.
  5. Provide any necessary information they may need.
  6. Follow their instructions and provide feedback.
  7. Be patient and follow up if needed.

By reaching out to the app developer, you increase your chances of receiving accurate and personalized support for the challenges you're experiencing. To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
