Alarm not working in stand by mode

My alarm lasted maybe one second and I only heard it because I was only awake. My iPhone 11 was charging in stand by mode. This is a serious problem and may be due to a software upgrade and because Apple is getting lazy and sacrificing engineering quality in supporting all phone models. Since alarms are so crucial and can have devastating effects for a user, this oversight is an ominous sign for Apple as confidence in and reputation are compromised. These former corporate values were what once justified the high price demanded for Apple products.

I have not ex;periened any problems with alarms on my iPhone 16 Pro Max in Standby. Try changing the alarm sound to a different one and see what that does. Test the alarm after you change it and before you depend on it to wake you. It could have something to do with the alarm sound you are using.

Also, this is a user to user support forum and your statement about business is not necessary to receive support from fellow users.

Do you really think this is a software issue? If so, all the iPhone 11 users who use Stand By Mode will have no Alarms! Or can I safely suggest that none of them who use Stand By Mode use Alarms?

That feature is not on. I am resorting to not leaving my phone on its side to avoid the stand-by mode which I had previously liked using. The alarms had worked fine previously but now I avoid the stand-by mode since I can't risk my alarms not activating and staying on until I hit stop.
