How to resolve 'Apple ID does not support' error when connecting to VPN for Teams on iPhone?

I wanted to install teams in my iphone for which vpn connectivity is mandatory. However, while trying to connect to vpn it says apple id does not support contact administrator sign in. What is the issue how can it be solved

VPN Getting in the Way on Teams:

Been through this, myself on Teams. Contact your Mobile Device Management vendor if you are having issues. You are enrolled in it, but it is just not configured correctly, on their end.

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: VPN & Device Management
  4. Tap: Sign In to Work or School Account

The issue is that Apple did not install the VPN, so they have no control over the app and cannot offer support of the app.


You will need to get the administrator log on information from the VPN support folks.


Truth be known, there is no reason to install a VPN on your iPhone unless your company or school requires it. Despite all the fancy advertising claims by VPN apps, your phone is less secure with a VPN.
