How do I temporarily disable side buttons on iPhone?

I carry my phone in a bicycle bag and the buttons are constantly getting pushed. If I stack it on the left the volume will go up and down when riding on washboards. If on the right then the screen turns on and off when the power button is hit and now with the 16 the camera will engage. I'd love to "triple click" the action button or power button to toggle all the buttons or at least the buttons on one side of the phone on and off.

Not currently an option, but you are welcome to provide feedback/suggestions to Apple. Please use the link below if you want Apple to be aware of your concerns and needs.

The only short term solution would be to turn your device off when it’s stored. This will prevent accidental button activation and also preserve battery capacity.
