How can I get external fonts to show on my iPad?
I’ve installed the fonts correctly from ifont but the font is not showing up in my fonts in settings nor am I able to find it to use in any apps

You can only use downloaded fonts in apps with a font menu. Check the Pages app.
I have used the app AnyFont to successfully add fonts to iOS. They do not always show up in "My Fonts", however, only the app font menus.
