The refurbished Iphone13 my family member purchased has functions, settings etc. words and spelling in British English. How do I change that to American English?
Also how do I change the calculator to use American decimal points instead of British commas?
Go to Settings➡️General➡️Language & Region, and make the required changes.
With that said, those options are configured during the Setup, so there’s no reason for them to be set to that unless the iPhone has not been properly wiped. This can lead to locks and and other issues as it may still be tied to an old Apple ID and have Apps tied to an old Apple ID that you may not be able to update.
Its always a good idea to restore the device to Factory Settings before using it.
