How to fix AirPrint not working for Canon wireless Printer on iPhone or iPad after latest update?

Ever since the latest Apple iPhone update last week, my Canon Imageclass MF644cdw printer won't work. It doesn't even show up as an AirPrint option. I called Canon and waited an hour. They fixed it when I had the problme before, but then the update came and it won't work again. I tried rebooting wifi and printer. That didn't work. The printer does work from my desktop using wifi. Any suggestions? Is Apple aware of this issue? I haven't been able to get a person to talk with at Apple. Very frustrated. Any help is appreciated. mar*****ij@comcast.net

There is no issue for Apple to be aware of. There are many possible reasons for AirPrint problems→AirPrint Troubleshooting - Apple Community

I can’t imaging why you are having a problem talking to Apple support.

Best way:

  • Install the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad - you can contact support directly from the app, and the tech will have (with your permission) access to diagnostic data on your device

Other options:

(Note that both of the above have options to receive a callback or chat)
