I take it that you have entered an incorrect passcode so many times that the phone has gone into a state where you must reset and erase it to get back in.

Apple cannot bypass this for you. But if you were (a) using iCloud Photos, or (b) making iCloud backups that included photos, you would probably be able to recover your photos from iCloud after erasing the phone.

Were you synchronizing or backing up your photos?

Correct, it cannot be unlocked. The passcode is known only to you. It cannot be bypassed and after too many tries, it locks the system. The data is lost. Apple can help to unlock the device provided you have original proof of ownership but even that wipes all data. You'll need to recover from your backups. for original sources.

My point exactly its locked and the greatest mystery in the history of the world is an iPhone can't be opened from this point without losing everything its BS! To think Apple couldn't open it and get everything on the phone ya riiiiight lol there's always a way...

It's not a mystery. The design of the iPhone system prioritizes security in the sense of "keeping bad guys from accessing the data held locally on your phone" over security in the sense of "giving you a method to get back in without erasing the data if you have forgotten your passcode."

It's by design – not by accident or incompetence – that Apple can't open your phone without erasing it.

You might not agree with all of the design choices, with the particular tradeoffs that Apple made, but that doesn't mean that they put no thought or effort into the matter, or that they can override device security at a whim.

I am simply saying that with all the technology available at this time in 2025 it's crazy to believe there is absolutely no possible way to open an old iPhone and not lose the pictures,

That's what the passcode is for. If you could bypass, then anyone could access your device at any time.
