How to fix Microsoft 365 subscription issues on iPad?

When I go into settings, click on my name, then click on subscriptions it says my Microsoft 365 Personal expired on 11th September 2024. I renewed my subscription in March 2025 and have been charged £8.49 in both March and April. Why does my new subscription not appear when I go into my iPad settings?

Who's charging you? Apple or Microsoft?

Did you renew it directly with Microsoft?

If so, it won't be tied to your Apple account and would not appear in Settings.

Unless the charge appears as "apple.com/bill" on your payment method statement, its not being billed by Apple, would not be tied to your Apple account and would not appear in Settings.
