Refunded funds from Apple not received in bank account yet

Subject: Refund Status – Funds Not Received

Dear Apple Support,

My name is Tomiris, and I’m writing regarding a recent refund request associated with my Apple ID: [t*********3@mail.ru].

According to your system, the refund request made on April 30, 2025 has been marked as “Refunded”, but I have not received the funds in my bank account.

I contacted my bank, and they confirmed that no refund transaction has been received from Apple. The GPT Plus subscription was cancelled successfully, but the money has not been returned.

Could you please:

  • Confirm the exact date and method the refund was processed?

  • Provide any transaction or reference number related to the refund?

  • Advise on what I should do next to resolve this issue?

I would greatly appreciate your help in clarifying this situation.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Kind regards,

Tomiris

For your refund, it will be returned to the same payment method that was charged. If that was a credit card, it is usually seen in about 10 business days, but could take up to 30 depending on your bank. The information about the time it takes for refunds is available here:

If your refund is approved, the funds are applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement:

  • Store credit—It might take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.
  • Mobile phone billing—It might take up to 60 days for the statement to show the refund. Processing time might be affected by your carrier. You can contact your carrier for an update.
  • Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and all other payment methods—It might take up to 30 days for the statement to show the refund. If you don't see the refund after 30 days, contact your financial institution.

Hello!

First, I would like to let you know that you’re not speaking to Apple, but other users such as yourself.

Also, this is a public forum so posting personal information is quite risky, but hopefully the mods will edit it.

How long it takes for the refund to show up in your account is dependent on what kind of a refund it is. See below:
