How to request an Apple refund for unused apps?

Please help me get my money back The decision made was very unfair. Apple said the purchase was not eligible for a refund, but I never used that app, I was scrolling &downloaded 4 more apps that relate to. each other I wasn’t paying attention didn’t catch that free trial message I wish they were able to see that it was never used The subscription went through without notifying me or consent

$80 gone it seems like when trying to contact support. They are never able to do anything about it, but I guess they are able to tell you that they won’t be refunding you. Can anyone help me with this? Any suggestions?

$80.00 is a big amount for me!:( I am asking from the bottom of my heart

please help me

This is not right.

For any purchase/free trial, it requires you to double click the side button, followed by authorization with FaceID or Passcode. Before you double click the side button, you will see the free trial end date, and the subscription price, along with the message that if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end date you will be charged for the subscription. To be clear, downloading an app does not automatically start a free trial/subscription, that is only done with an in-app purchase after the app is downloaded.

It really can't be more clear than that. Not using the app makes no difference, and that is true for any subscription. I have a Netflix subscription and I am still billed every month whether I watch any of the shows or not.

Due to this explicit action needed on your part to authorize the free trial/subscription, most transactions in the App Store are final. At times, Apple may provide a compassionate refund, but it should never be expected. All you can do is try and contact Apple directly, but there certainly is no guarantee.

Yes when downloading it does require you to double click and let you know how many days the free trial will be when I meant to say was I did agree to that but the only time I actually opened the app was to create my account. I should’ve deleted it right then and there, knowing that I wasn’t going to do anything with it, but I didn’t. I just wish they can see the activity that was going on or something so know that it was not intention

Apple is not a company that is going to monitor your activities while you use your device and that is for your protection. There are other device manufactures that do monitor what you are doing, but I don't think you really want a company looking over your shoulder.
