How do I mute the microphone on Notes or Messages on iPhone 16 Pro Max?
Background voices even TV voices are TYPED INTO MY NOTES and MESSAGES while I am trying to type my content! I want to mute the microphone!

Turn off Dictation.
You can temporarily turn it off, by tapping on the Microphone icon at the bottom right corner of the keyboard so it's not highlighted.
Or permanently turn it off in Settings ➜ General ➜ Keyboard ➜ Enable dictation and turn it off.
