Keypad entried not transmitting when AirPods are connected

That looked helpful, but the results continue to be inconsistent: I called the same credit card agency just now, and 2 of my entries were recognized ("**" 'to get to the touch tone menu', and the four (wrong) numbers entered for last four of the card, and one of them was not ('2' for Spanish version of menu).

With call on speakers, first time all 3 responses were recognized, but then testing the system further, a "**" to go back to voice-recognition system did not work, despite the clear instructions first time around to press that combo 'at any time'.

Still feels buggy, and ludicrous that my phone is giving me extra sounds that are not transmitted to the other end when I have deliberately brought up the keypad to press entries in a default configuration. But maybe it will happen less often now.

If it weren't for the very clear audio coming from the other end, I'd be ready to blame a poor connection....but the call is not cutting in and out for me when this happens.
