How to complete initial setup and update refurbished Apple Watch SE 2nd gen with iPhone SE
Initial setup never completes, prompts for update request update ,yet never completes update

Which iOS version is installed on the iPhone?
If the watch has watchOS 11 installed, the iPhone needs to be updated to the latest version of iOS 18.
In case this is an iPhone SE 2nd Gen, and has iOS 18.4.1 installed, try these suggestions:

- Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger.
- Restart your Apple Watch.
- Restart your paired iPhone.
- Try again to update your Apple Watch.
If the update won't start:
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap General > Storage.
- Delete the update file.
- Try again to update your Apple Watch.
