What is the difference between the various iMac power adapters (M1-M4)?

Cheers Keith, it’s a pity Apple don't do them. I’d just get one from the Apple store if they did. I’ve seen them for sale on 3rd party sites. Some say they are used, so may come from a failed Mac, others say they are new and genuine, I’ve not looked scrupulously enough yet to see if that's true. But if they are all that is available I don't have much option.

A Laptop isn't really an option for me. The screens aren't big enough, but I also use a few expensive subscription applications that I really couldn't be bothered swapping the licenses between one Mac and another.

If the only difference is the ethernet I’m ready to go.

Apple don't seem to sell them, but if the one I've purchased isn't a genuine product, it's extremely convincing. I've always used genuine adapters, which I've ensured by getting them from the Apple Store. I'm unable to do this on this occasion, but it's intended for use outside.

Yep, it's the whole caboodle that I was looking for. Just take the Mac, keyboard and mouse outside and connect it up. I ended up ordering this - but in blue.
