Why is my iPhone not keeping track of my sleep patterns?

My iPhone sleep schedule recorder is not keeping track of my sleep patterns.

An iPhone cannot track Sleep on its own.


You need an Apple Watch or another sleep tracking device for that.


If there's an issue with the synchronization of sleep data between the device and the iPhone, contact the device manufacturer and look into the app and device user guides for troubleshooting steps.


If using an Apple Watch, make sure Sleep is setup in the Health App.
