Will my USA IPhone 12 Pro work in Israel? Do I need a special plug?

You will need a wall plug adapter. A voltage converter is not needed because the iPhone charger will operate from 100-240 Volts automatically.

You will likely want to get 3-5 adapters to cover the iPhones, iPads, laptops, razor, hair dryer, etc.

The Apple Kit is one of those things that looks like a good idea at a glance, but further examination will likely change that first impression.

On a recent trip to Italy, my wife and I were using an adapter for each iPhone, her iPad, my laptop, her hairdryer, my razor and electric toothbrushes. We could have gotten by swapping things all around a lot, but the total cost of the adapters was far less than the cost of 1 Apple Travel Kit.

Unfortunately, Italy chose to be different some time ago, so the current Italy adapters won't work in most of the rest of Europe. And....the adapter in the Apple Kit for use in Italy will fall out of the wall jack most of the time.

Hello once more~ I appreciate the information and just placed an order for the ones you recommended. A family member is going to be doing some traveling and will appreciate these as a gift. I may do some traveling before much longer and at that price you certainly can’t go wrong. When traveling in the past I only cared that my diving equipment was packed…not the case now. Thx again.

The Apple Kit is a nice looking package, but you only get 1 adapter in the kit that will work in Israel. Most users who are traveling will need 3-4 or more adapters to handle all their devices.

Just to make sure.......the adapters that I recommended for the user were for use in Israel.

If your friend is not going to Israel, he'll need a different adapter.
