The preserve settings, under Camera in the settings menu, does for some reason not preserve the aspect ratio.
My iPhone keeps changing the aspect ratio back to 4:3 where I wish it to remain 16:9.
Anyone know the fix to this?

There are a bunch of Preserve Settings settings. Have you checked them all? I think Creative does aspect ration.
Just a thought: 4:3 is the native size, since that is the aspect ratio of the sensor. 16:9 just cuts off the top and bottom. I choose to crop to 16:9 after I take the picture, so I'll know what I'm missing…
