Lock Screen widgets not responding in dark mode on iPhone

I'm using and iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.4.1. One widget was weather and the other was from an app called Air Matters that reports air quality. I have tried removing the widgets, restarting, changing settings, but no luck. I've searched and tried all the suggestions I could find, but no luck so far.

iPhone screen goes dark while using Waze despite Auto-Lock set to Never My iphone auto locks when I am driving and my Waze map app goes dark. I have turned the phone on and off. I have turned the Auto lock feature to never and the screen display to always on. I dont have Apple Carplay feature so I have to rely on the phone screen which goes off after several minutes. lock screen widgets are missing information On my iPhone 14 Pro, I added Temperature, Precipitation, and Air Quality widgets to the Lock Screen but no information appears in them. Only the Battery widget shows any information. How can I fix this? I’m using iOS 17.0.3. Restarting the phone didn’t help.

Widgets (like calendar) are now a low contrast grey instead of 'dark' in dark mode I have just updated to the iOS 26 on my ipad pro and I am extremely frustrated. I always stay on dark mode, my calendar widget and other widgets used to be dark, now they are a faded gray and it's extremely frustrating that I don't have a crisp contrast anymore. The closest thread to my problem is this one; 'After installing iOS 26 noticing glaring issue on iPhone Home Screen' I have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by responses, however, nothing seems to fix the issue I have as they were referring to the boxes around stacks and at the bottom home screen bar I think. PLEASE, help me get my dark widgets back!

App developers need to submit a light and dark icon for their app. Whether or not they support it is up to them. This isn’t on Apple’s side. Contact them and ask about it.
