How do I change the default timer sound on my iPhone?

I can't change the timer sound. I press "Clock", then "Timers", then "When Timer Ends", then I enter my choice of sounds (Shelter, but I've tried to change it to others as well). Then I press "Set".

No matter what I do, the timer sound remains at "Uptown Funk", which I don't remember ever setting at all. I must have though, I guess. Please help! "Girl sexy, hallelujah!" is really getting old!

I have tried rebooting, several times. My OS is up to date, ... I don't know what to try!

Reset your Timers:

Delete all timers, then set the sound to your preference. Then, create any timer and it will use the new default sound to that one you just created.
