What does "battery health is boosted" mean?

Battery health doesn't go up, it only goes in one direction, down, due to chemical aging over time.

You can check your battery health in Settings > Battery > Battery Health and Charging. If it's below 80%, you are overdue for a battery replacement, which if you haven't done yet, it's probably time.

Otherwise, you can expect an average of 1% drop in battery health per month, which can vary more or less based on conditions, usage, and the state of the battery new.

Third party service stores can reprogram the battery controller on the iPhone after opening it up. If you purchased the device used, then you have no guarantees and if it has been altered, Apple won't even touch it if you do need the battery replaced at some time in the future or for other service. That is simply the risk you would take when purchasing any used Apple product. There is no check to determine if that has been happened. Apple will know when the device is opened and will most likely refuse service.

Not sure if that is what you are referring to.
