In addition to all the advice you've been given, PLEASE don't delay getting the battery replaced. Apple suggests replacing the battery when its health dips to 80%. At 56% your battery is SEVERELY depleted and batteries which are severely depleted can swell or worse, which could permanently damage the phone. Either get the battery replaced as soon as possible or buy a new iPhone.
