I have been purchasing movies from Apple TV and iTunes for years. My question is how can I share the movies I fully purchase or download to a disc so my friends that cannot afford a computer can play on a dvd player

You cannot. You do not own the film, just a license to use it on your device/stream it.
Another way of putting it is you bought ONE copy and ONE copy only, whether it be on a disk or downloaded off the internet. If you want to share a movie you bought with your friends then buy a DVD or Blueray and share it with them that way.

is to stop you from doing just that, also for dvds and bluerays hdcp was really invented to protect media on those
So why are we charged so much for something we purchased but do not own. So it’s just another way for companies that offer purchases to take advantage of individuals and continue to charge after said purchase
