1. Open Settings: Open the Settings app (the gear icon).

2. Go to Messages: Scroll down and tap Messages.

3. Turn on iMessage: Toggle the iMessage switch to ON (it should turn green).

4. Sign in with Apple ID (if prompted): If it’s your first time setting up iMessage, you may need to sign in with your Apple ID.

5. Check Send & Receive: Tap Send & Receive to ensure your phone number and email are correctly set up for iMessage.


If you are still having difficulty activating iMessages then follow the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime on your iPhone - Apple Support
