Why isn't my Apple Watch tracking calories correctly?

I’ve conected my Apple Watch to the strenght log app (an app for weightlifting/gym). So during a session it calculates an amount of calories based on my heart rate (I dont really care about the calories tough).

everything worked fine, until I took away the share function for the ”activity”(calories). However then the healt app started to log the activity double up. Both calories from the app AND the calories based on my heart rate during this time (wich the app takes in to account when calculating the cals).

I then started to share the ”activity” (cals) from the app to Apple healt app again, However it is still the same!

so no for example, did a leg workout. ~ 280 cals from the app (With heartrate and everything else taken in to account) and ~ 170-200 cals from the heart rate based on the Watch.

The correct amount should be ONLY ~280 cal.

anyone out there that has experienced the same issue? Or have a solution?
