Apple Watch Ultra 2 constantly locking while secured on wrist

My Apple Watch Ultra Series 2 keeps locking while on my wrist. I’ve had it for about a week now and was loving it, but now that I have a new product that isn’t functioning properly, unlike my Series 4 which never had any issues, I’m almost considering returning it. Sure, I can disable the passcode, and my watch won’t lock anymore, but I don’t like that concept. I tried factory resetting my watch, and that seemed to work for about 12 hours. Now, all of a sudden, my watch just automatically locks while I’m looking straight at it for a few minutes.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. If I am unable to find a solution, I will most likely return the watch.

Any chance there are tattoos underneath the sensors?

If not, try to set it up as a new device after unpairing it, without using the latest backup.
