I'm unable to view other people's WhatsApp statuses on iPhone 15

I'm currently using an iPhone 15 and have tried multiple steps to fix the issue. I've synced my contacts, manually refreshed WhatsApp, offloaded and even uninstalled the app, but I'm still unable to view other people's statuses. I’ve also followed various troubleshooting methods suggested on YouTube, but none of them worked.

P.S. The access to contacts is granted, and I can see my contacts when I message them or use the new chat section on iPhone.

At last, I even found a relevant discussion online, but unfortunately, that didn’t help either.
