I recently purchased a new iPhone, the included Lightning - Type-C cable has a defect, the Lightning plug is installed at an angle, which is why it does not connect to the iPhone correctly. Apple cables are used by a huge number of people around the world and it is strange that I have not found a single person with a similar problem on the Internet. Who else has encountered this situation?

If you have a genuine Apple Lightning cable, take it to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess and if necessary replace the cable:

If you have instead purchased a third-party cable, return it the retailer from which it was purchased - and replace it with a genuine Apple cable.
Cheap third-party cables have the potential to cause damage to your expensive Apple devices. Cheap cables will not have Lightning connectors manufactured to Apple's high engineering tolerances.
