Unable to Send MMS messages After iOS 18.4.1 Install
I have an iPhone 13 Pro. After updating to iOS 18.4.1, I am unable to send MMS messages through cellular data. I can only send a MMS messages when I’m on Wi-Fi. I have reset my network settings, turned airplane mode off and on, turn the cellular data off and on, turn MMS messages often on, I called my carrier VERIZON they did the same thing. In addition they updated my SIM. I now have an eSIM and the issue is still not resolved. The troubleshooting that I mentioned previously was done before and after the SIM update. I have a friend who is having the same issue. She even upgraded to an iPhone 16 thinking it would solve the issue and it didn’t. I am having the issue no matter who I try to send an MMS message to. I see you have recently released iOS 18.5. I am skeptical about updating because I do not want additional issues. I reviewed the bug fixes for the last update and I see that iPhone is introducing the Starlink feature for satellite and only T-Mobile offers it. The 13 does not have the necessary built in features like the later version so it appears the fix for that is in 18.5. Only T-Mobile users have the satellite option. I’m wondering if this added feature is what is causing the issue. Throwing out ideas because no one seems to have an answer and it’s quite frustrating.
