My iPhone 7 Plus has many issues and is not working properly

(IPhone 7+) This started happening last week on Wednesday so basically I plug in my wire ear buds in my phone and when I turn off my phone my music will stop and I would need to plug my ear buds in again. But suddenly it just stop working and try it on my sister phone and it still work the ear buds. Then I try a other pair of ear buds and they didn’t work either. Now recently my camera when I record I can’t hear anything and I tried on my Instagram camera and other socials and they didn’t work either. So I try test something by calling my sister but when I called my sister it automatically hanged up. And yes my phone is up to date with all its updates.

For at least some of those symptoms a failing battery may be the cause. Go to Settings/Battery/Battery Health and see what the battery condition message says, and see what the maximum capacity is. It should be over 80% to work reliably.

Replace the battery and roll the dice. On older phones like yours, you fix one thing and another thing breaks. There may be other issues besides the battery.

Apple recommends replacing the battery at 80%, so you're due for that. But, I honestly wouldn't invest in an iPhone released in September 2016. The phone is not eligible to run anything higher then iOS 15.8.4 and we're now on iOS 18.5. You got 9 years out of this phone, which is great, but honestly, it's time to replace the phone with a modern new iPhone.
