The Apple Support Community is a user-to-user technical forum. Contributors here are all end-users, just like you. Other than the site Moderators, Apple neither monitor nor participate here. As such, if you hope to reach Apple through these forums, you will be disappointed.

Multiple reports of issues with iPadOS 17.7.7 have been seen within this Support Community.

You and anyone else that encounter issues subsequent to updating to this version of iPadOS should submit a Bug Report via Apple's Product Feedback portal.  For iPad and iPadOS:

Feedback - iPad - Apple

When submitting your Bug Report, please ensure that you include details of your iPad model and installed version of iPadOS within the body-text of your report along with details of the problem. Do not rely upon the pick-list - as this rarely includes the current version of iPadOS.

Every Bug Report counts. Unless reports are submitted (with adequate detail), Apple may not assign resources to investigate and correct the issue.

In addition [i.e., not as a substitute] to submitting a Bug Report, you might also consider seeking assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page; you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

Since updating to iPad OS 17.7.7 I have apps repeatedly asking me to log in each time the app is opened too. I’ve also ‘lost’ the favourites bar in Safari.

I can’t submit feedback to Apple like suggested (via the feedback link) as iPad OS 17.7.7 isn’t actually listed in the software versions list.

Why on earth did Apple not test this software update out before making it available to the public?

I hope they sort this issue out soon with another update (hopefully tested next time!)

Yes you can submit the Bug Report - but you will need to choose the most recent listed version to do so.

When submitting your Bug Report, ensure that you include details of your iPad model and installed version of iPadOS within the body-text of your report along with details of the problem.

As already outlined, the pick-list rarely includes the current version of iPadOS.
