Why is my Apple Watch SE not lighting up to see dial?

When I raise my wrist to see the time, the dial does not light up. I can barely detext the dial. The theater is not turned on.

Did you check the settings for the orientation of the watch?

...

If your Apple Watch doesn’t wake when you raise your wrist, make sure you selected the proper wrist and watch orientation. If your Apple Watch doesn’t wake when you tap the display or press or turn the Digital Crown, it may need charging.

If these settings are correct, did you try to force restart the watch by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
