2017 butterfly keyboard has known issues. If compressed air does not solve your problem, please note the following

keys associated in a straight row, keys associated on a diagonal, or your case a single key failure...

Keyboards are replaced not repaired. This is an upper case replacement, which includes the trackpad, keyboard, and possibly the battery for your model.

Personally I would not spend the money on a 2017. (a 90 day warranty only.)

If that cleaning fails to resolve this, the next step is usually a not-cheap repair, or replacement.

Workarounds include enabling a text shortcut to generate the G, or using an external keyboard.
