Is it worth repairing broken screen on an 8th generation iPad?

The screen is not just cracked but shattered with quite large holes right through. Most of the touch still seems to work for the moment. I bought this iPad about 4 years ago so I’m just trying to decide if buying new would be smarter than trying to fix.

iPad, iPadOS 15

You’re speaking with fellow members of the Apple community and NOT Apple themselves, You can see the pricing of the repair here iPad Repair and Service - Apple Support

For the front screen damage.. it only displays the A16 iPad.. you can choose other damages, BUT PERSONALLY, I would buy a new iPad 11th generation instead of repairing it

REPAIRING RHE IPAD WITHOUT APPLE CARE COSTS $250, AND WITH $50, The iPad 11th gen costs $329
