How do I fix an iPhone that won't turn on after getting wet and charging with emergency override?

So yesterday i had a pool party, my iPhone was perfect it got splashed a lot, the phone is kind of old bur works perfect, so it got wet and i got home, still worked perfectly. then i left it charging at night and when i connect it said that the port was wet so i clicked emergency override so then it charged perfectly. Now is the next day, i just woke up and it doesnt turn on at all, the xcreen is just black, what do I do?

Here are some signs I present:

It worked and charged earlier after getting wet.

I used Emergency Override.

It does nothing now, not even heat up — no buzzing, no screen glitches, nothing.

The screen never showed signs of distortion, flickering, or weird colors.

No smell of burning or melted plastic from the phone or charging port.

Your phone didn't make a popping sound or spark when I plugged it in.

The charging port still detected water before override.

I didn't drop it in deep water or for a long time.

I can still feel the phone is solid and not swollen or warped

No signs of corrosion around the charging port

You did not mention whether you had replacement insurance on the phone, so recycle the phone. Apple will not offer service or repairs on a water damaged phone.

Sure, you could take the phone to a third-party shop, but only do this if you are prepared to lose your money.

The shop will have no access to genuine Apple parts and will offer no guarantee that "repairs" will be successful.
