Both. I had iso 17 and for some reason with updates off both my I phones and both 12 max were updated to 18. The previous day broadcasted like normal. After update to 18 both phone had the same issue when live broadcasting.

my fps were always in the 30’s and now dropped to -1 to 3 fps thus rendering my live broadcasts no viewable on the receiving end to the viewers.

im in Canada and i have a friend that broadcasts in Russia so he updated his I phone to see if the problem is the same and he also had the same results. Low low fps. 🧐🧐🧐

there is a problem with the new update and just looking for a solution.

Presenting what are known to be bad measurements, and seeking help with resolving those bad measurements, starts with getting better measurements.

Tools reporting negative numbers for frame rates — “I know it’s impossible”, and yes, yes it very much is impossible — are a problem. What else might the tools here also be measuring wrong?

There are other questions posed and unanswered here, as well. Not the least of which is iOS version.

Or you can send Apple some feedback: Product Feedback - Apple (but I’d get non-nonsensical frame rates first.)
