My watch series 9 is not tracking minutues in the ring for fitness/training. even though i register running no minutues are added. it reconized minutues that are not set for tracking. This happend when i installed latest watchOS 11.5

Did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
Are you using the default Apple Workout App to record your workouts?
Does the Health App register your workouts?
If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:

After a reboot by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button as you wrote the function is correct again.
Earlier today I made a restart only by the side button, and that did not work its wasnt enough.
