Why does Screen Time show 28+ hours of daily usage on iPhone?

“Why does Screen Time show 28+ hours of daily usage on iPhone?: not sure how my phone can live 28+hrs a day when we have 24hrs/day. Here I’m attaching a screenshot of my daily usage recorded by screen time app in iPhone which is 28hrs just for today. Not sure what’s happening”

There is a bug in the tracking software; not the app.

Update your iPhone:

Have a Computer Handy? If so, try using a computer to update. Go here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are availabe, they will install, sure enough.

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this all began, and how you’ve troubleshoot, thus far. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary
