Why does my iPhone ask for an old Apple Account to update apps?

Every time I try to update a app it asks me to confirm my password to a old account that’s my dads I used to use that account as a shared one and now I have my own account and now every time I try to update a app it asks me to confirm my password to it my dad says he deleted it and when I do put in the old password it tells me to put in my trusted number and nothing works

Because the old account is stored inside that application. If you can't log into it, delete and redownload it.
