Call button gone from CarPlay screen

I am

no longer able to make calls using CarPlay in my seat Arona. The call button has disappeared completely.

If I try to call from the car interface it links to CarPlay but then does nothing . Thanks

Option to turn off calls in Driving Focus? I’m wondering if there’s a way to turn off all calls in driving focus. There doesn’t seem to be that option, and I just don’t wanna talk on the phone while I’m driving. I want my music, I want my audiobooks, I want no distractions. Is it possible to set up another focus that would turn on automatically when I connect to my Bluetooth? It seems like it would be an easy fix to just add the option to receive no calls in CarPlay?

Accidental Calls when Hanging up Does anyone else have an issue when hanging up a call and the person on the other line hangs it up first so you accidentally touch the screen to hang up but call someone else? It would be great if every time a call ended you went to a home screen because I find myself waiting for the other person to hang up so that I don’t accidentally call somebody (when trying to hit the hang up button)

iPhone 16 Pro Max | iOS18 - Car Play does not access Phone app Details: Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18 (latest updates) Car: 2017 Mazda CX-5 with the Mazda CarPlay add-on installed by Mazda It did work (and still does work) with my prior iPhone (13 Pro Max running iOS 17.7) When I connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max to CarPlay and try to make phone calls Siri tells me that there is no App available to do this. If I look at the CarPlay under Settings>General>CarPlay>My Car>Customize the Phone app is not listed. The Phone app does show under the same path on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. My 16 Pro Max does connect to CarPlay I can make calls with Siri when not connected to CarPlay If I start the call from my phone directly, it will show up on my car display in CarPlay. I have forgotten and re-added the car, changed the cable, restarted the phone, checked for iOS upgrades, but nothing has worked. I have also tried this in another car - 2024 Mazda 3 with factory CarPlay, and was still not able to make phone calls. Has anyone else run into this issue?
