iOS Widget Siri App Suggestions - not removing suggestion?

I have the Siri App Suggestions on my iOS home screen.

There is one app I don't want it to recommend.

I press and hold, select the "don't suggest _____", but it does nothing.

The app is still suggested, and nothing appears to change.

I still want the app to be searchable, just not suggested.

I have restarted my device, no luck.

Is this a known issue? Or are there any suggestions?

edit:

restarted the device did fix this issue. I had to tell it again, but I had never before seen the secondary confirmation popup.
