Updated to 16 pro max with 18.5 update. Now I don’t receive group text with Android users. I can send but don’t see android responses. Can text and receive them individually. SMS mms on and tried the airplane mode on/off.

troubleshoot here If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If the above link doesn't help, then report the issue to your phone carrier, MMS is their feature.
